Your responsibility for copyright

YTSaver is a tool that lets you download publicly accessible video content for personal use. You, the user, are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to download and use any content you process through this service, and for complying with copyright law in your jurisdiction. YTSaver does not review, endorse, or verify the legal status of any video a user submits.

Permitted use

  • Only download content that is legal, non-copyrighted, or that you are otherwise licensed to download.
  • The video source must be publicly accessible - YTSaver does not bypass private, age-gated, or paywalled content.
  • Maximum video duration per download: 2 hours.
  • Maximum concurrent downloads per user: 3.

DMCA & platform terms

YTSaver aims to operate in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the terms of service of the platforms it interoperates with, including YouTube. If you believe content processed through this service infringes your copyright, please contact us so it can be addressed.

No server-side storage of your downloads

Downloaded and converted files are held only temporarily on our servers to be delivered to you, and are automatically deleted after a short retention window. YTSaver does not keep a permanent copy of the videos you download.

Fair use & rate limits

To keep the service available for everyone, download requests are rate-limited per IP address, and automated/bot traffic may be asked to complete a CAPTCHA challenge before continuing.

No account required

Core downloading does not require creating an account, and YTSaver does not collect personal data beyond what's technically necessary to serve your request (e.g. your IP address, used only for rate limiting) without your explicit consent.
